The Brown-crested Flycatcher is a relatively large flycatcher with a heavily built bill. While it may resemble several other species, it is the only unstreaked flycatcher with extensive rufous in its wings and tail. It is a fairly common resident of mangrove forest as well as forest edge on T&T.
