Guianan Trogon

Trogon violaceus
Conservation Status: Least Concern

The Guianan Trogon is the smallest trogon in T&T. Males have a distinctive yellow eye-ring, which helps to distinguish them from the larger Green-backed Trogon. Like that species, they also occupy forested areas on Trinidad and are not found on Tobago.
