The Tropical Screech-Owl is a small, nocturnal owl found in various habitats on Trinidad. Feeding mostly on insects, this owl seems fairly tolerant of human habitation, and is often seen hunting around houses where there is sufficient thick vegetation within which it would roost during the day.
